Cyberbullying also known as electronic bullying or online social cruelty, is defined as bullying through e-mail, instant messaging, in a chat room, on a web system on an online gaming system or through digital messages or images sent to a cellular phone.

Cyberbullying captures the most important elements:
*Willful: The behavior has to be deliberate, not accidental
*Repeated: Bullying reflects a pattern of behavior not just one isolated incident
*Harm: The target must perceive that harm was inflicted
*Computers, cell phones and other electronic devices

Today online bullying messages consisting of images or graphics can be used in numerous ways along with text to imply or convey all sorts of threats in weird or sinister ways.

Receiving action messages can he like discovering a dead chicken on a porch, finding own dog hanging from a tree in front yard, or sometimes creepy and disturbing action that are sometimes used to really intimidate someone in an off-line or traditional sense.
