Resource management involves all E-business management activities, including the following:
• Planning when resources are needed
• Putting resources together for tasks
• Setting up resource to do work.
• Directing the performance of there resources
• Reviewing the work and performance of the team
• Resolving resource questions.
• Planning and staging when resources are no longer needed
• Releasing the resource
• Extracting lessons learned from the previous activities.
The overall goal is to help to achieve the following:
• Get the most o the E-business resources
• Minimize the use of resources so as not to be an excessive burden on the line organizations
• Minimize the time required by each other resource for their work in E-business
