WeChat application

WeChat was first released by the Chinese multinational company Tencent Holding Limited in January 2011. WeChat is not just a social networking app; it is a platform that integrates the functionality of all of the major global networking systems into one place.

WeChat presents a multipurpose smartphone application, going beyond the features offered by its counterpart WhatsApp popular in Western countries.

The multipurpose platform WeChat integrates a variety of services such as messaging, socialization, and mobile payment services. Tencent also looked into making WeChat an all-in-one platform where users can chat, shop, play games, pay bills, and even manage bank accounts.

Beside messaging and voice calling, WeChat offers QR coding for people and businesses, gaming, geolocation searching, blog posting, brand channels, and mobile commerce.

With the growth of WeChat, WeChat mall is developed as a social e-commerce system. As long as consumers through the WeChat platform, they can achieve product inquiries, purchase, experience, interaction, order and payment of online and offline integration services model.
