Harvard Graphics

A good graphics program can help to make the user work look more professional and can help the user to communicate his thought through iconic presentation. Harvard Graphics was one of the graphics programs that available commercially during 1980s.

Software Publishing Corporation developed Harvard Graphics and it was introduced to the market in 1986. Harvard Graphics then known as Harvard Presentation Graphics.

The software is a pioneering graphic presentation program developed for DOS and later for Microsoft Windows. The users can incorporate text, information, graphics, and charts into custom slideshow presentations.

Harvard Graphics was very popular during 1980s and was one of the first business graphics packages to support columnar and free form charts.

The first version of Harvard Graphics was DOS-based applications. Over their early years, Harvard Graphics getting top honors in reviews of presentation graphics programs for Intel-compatible computers.

Around 1991, Harvard Graphics was ported to Windows. PowerPoint had arrived a year earlier. Reviews of both products were generally positive, with PowerPoint generally being considered the easiest to use and Harvard Graphics often being considered the most powerful.

The software was taken off form the market in 2017.
